The National Theatre of Namibia is proud to present RAPUNZEL as part of NTN’s annual Children’s Theatre project.  This production will be staged free of charge to some 3000 pupils from invited schools around Windhoek during school hours on 01, 02 & 03 February 2011.    The general public will also have a chance to watch the production on Friday evening, 04 February 2011 - 19h00 for 20h00 and Saturday, 05 February 2011 – 09h00 for 10h00.   Tickets for the public show are available at the Box Office at a price of N$20 for children and N$30 for adults.   This production is earmarked for Pre-School and Primary School Children.   Rapunzel is the delightful tale of a young maiden held hostage by the hairy-legged Salamander. The handsome Prince Boogie-Woogie falls in love with the captured Rapunzel and, as history must have it, he climbs the towering-wall to rescue his long-haired-lass. But! And yes, there is a..., but! The silly, slobbering Salamander has arrived. And so, the silly, slobbering Salamander and the handsome Prince Boogie-Woogie must clash swords for the ranting & roasting Rapunzel.
