The Brazilian Embassy in partnership with the National Theatre of Namibia presents the classical musich group "Quinteto Villa-Lobos' all the way from Brazil.

 Founded in April of 1962 in Rio de Janeiro, the Quinteto Villa-Lobos has always had the divulgation of the brazilian chamber music as it’s prime objective. In that very same year the quintet comissioned works from several composers based on folcloric themes, thus initiating a project aimed at capturing the atention of new audiences while also expanding the brazilian repertoire for wind quintet.  The band members are:

Antonio Carrasqueira –Flute
Luis Carlos Justi – Oboe
Paulo Sergio Santos – Clarinet
Philip Doyle – Horn
Aloysio Fagerlande – Bassoon
