The Spanish Cooperation in Namibia in partnership with NTN will present a four day acting workshop with Spanish actress Ana Asensio from the 15th of September to the 18th of September 2008.   Topics include monologue, stage presence, character development, and body movement.  Interested individuals are hereby invited to apply for participation in the workshop.

All participants in the seminar will be included and feature in her production ‘The Diva’ which will be performed on 19 September 2008 at the National Theatre. The Diva is a contemporary Spanish play about a classical actress faced to confront a fading interest in her theater career. Desperate for attention, she sabotages a cabaret singer’s show and takes over the production. Intimate and heartfelt, this captivating performance touches on the state of the arts and public commitment to live performance.
