 Alvaro Henrique’s main artistic goal is to share his enthusiasm for music. He has played in several Brazilian cities, and in Peru, Jamaica, Mozambique, Ireland, England, Greece, Germany and Switzerland.  He has played new compositions, premiering several works and also motivated composers to write new pieces - Alvaro has worked on broadening the audience of instrumental music, and to reach that goal he is part of the board of directors of the Guitar Society of Brasilia (BRAVIO) since its foundation.  He has helped music students to pursue their dreams by giving classes, lectures and writing articles that intend to help them to be successful on the music business. In addition, he has shared his experiences and knowledge in different media.  In August 2009 Alvaro Henrique returned to Brazil after studies in Germany. He is planning a CD with solo guitar works of Heitor Villa-Lobos and concerts after the 50th anniversary of Brasilia, capital of Brazil.
